TEACHING SAND PAINTING ON POT

Hai friends!!!!!!
Today we can see how to paint in a pot using sand.

MATERIALS REQUIRED:

  1. Pot
  2. Sand
  3. Fabric or Acrylic Paint
  4. Paint Brushes
  5. Fevicol
  6. Water
  7. Trace Paper(if required)
  8. Glue and Gloss
  9. Pencil
  10. Emery sheet

METHOD:

1. Take a pot and rub it with emery sheet to give smooth appearance to pot.

2. When the pot was smoother, give the first coat to the pot with black color.

3. After it was dried, give the second coat with the colors required.

( Second coat gives dull appearance if white was given in first coat.)

 4. If you can do free hand drawing, draw a design using pencil or use trace paper for design.

5. Avoid thin or minute designs.

6.  Mix some water in fevicol for the free flow of brush in design.

7. Use any waste brush to fill color on the design.

 8. Sprinkle the sand on it. Wait for a minute and reverse the pot. So the excess of sand will fall off.

9.  Then fill the area which was filled with sand , with fevicol by leaving its corners. This should be done to give the embossed look to the design.

10. Give 3 to 4 layers of sand using fevicol.

 11. Use any sharp material (stick or big needle) to clear the sand from unwanted areas.

12. Then leave it for an hour or 2 and color it with fabric colors which was required.

13. After painting give glue and gloss which gives nice effect.
